G Force Team Update

The Maxxis British Championship Season kicks off this Sunday 8th March at Canada Heights. We will be there with new rider, Ricky Mair (no. 666) in the MX1. G Force has worked with Ricky for 3 seasons now and we are delighted he has agreed to ride under the G Force banner this year. He will be competing in most of the Maxxis MX1 rounds on a CRF450 supplied by G Force. He will be racing the full British 2stroke challenge championships on a RM250 and also the British Enduro Championships, which he finished 13th in Round 1. A busy year for the young Scotsman. Good Luck Ricky.

Unfortunately Bobby Gold wont be at Canada Heights due to an accident earlier this month which saw him tangle up with another rider which resulted in a broken sternum. Hopefully he should be fit for round 2 at Langrish. We wish Bobby a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing him back on the track.

Our young Irish rider Steven Smyth competed for his first time at Le Touquet in February with a good result. The race had already set off as he was coming onto the beach and he fought his way through to 78th place overall. Which is an excellent result for his first attempt running a CRF250 with standard gearing. His season kicks off with the MX2 youth at Langrish followed by the British Youth the following weekend.

We have picked up some good sponsors for this season, which are Wulfsport International, Mitas Tyres (through Wulfsport), Motul Oil, RipNRoll Goggles, WRP Chains, Plastics, etc (through TWS GB), MotoX World supplying brake pads, MXM will be doing a great job with our graphics, Moto Force Tuning for engine work.

The riders have their own private sponsors also. Bobby has been helped by Mickey Oates Motorcycles and CRM Coachworks. Steven has support from Auto Tune Racing and Lazer Helmets.

Good luck to all of the G Force riders for the new season and we will feature results and news regularly on this website.
